Who am I

I've spent over two decades building businesses from the ground up — and tearing them back down when they needed it.

Before restaurants, I built ResortWiFi, deploying wireless internet across 50+ timeshare resorts. We sold it to Wayport in 2007. AT&T acquired them two years later.

Then I opened a pub.

In 2008 I took over a historic 1862 building in downtown Carson City and turned it into The Firkin and Fox. In 2010 I started brewing. In 2013 we won a Gold Medal at the Great American Beer Festival for our Buzzed Bee Honey Ale.

By 2015 I had $12 in the bank and $2 million in debt. I didn't quit.

I rebuilt. Rebranded. Opened a second location in Midtown Reno in 2023. And in August 2026 we're opening Fox & Fire Pizzeria & Taproom — the third location under A Fox Family Group.

I'm not a chef or a professional brewer. I'm an operator. I can do every job in the building — and I've built teams that can too.

Northern Nevada's hospitality scene is changing. I'm building the group that leads it.
